  • Description

The House of Rémy Martin has invited celebrated Chinese artist Huang Yuxing to interpret its collection to mark the Year of the Snake. The record-breaking contemporary artist has created a new artwork, Majestic Serpentine, to welcome the new zodiac sign, which has inspired a collaborative series of festive limited editions with Rémy Martin.

The connoisseur's choice: aged in toasted oak barrels, it is the embodiment of traditional craftsmanship.

Behind its regal appearance lie mellow and rich flavors that are smooth and well-balanced on the palate. This is an authentic cognac, deeply rooted in the terroir and tradition once honored by the French king himself. The mellowness of butterscotch and baked spices with hints of dark chocolate.

80 proof/ 40% ABV

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

Generous notes of plum and fig marmalade rounded out by intense oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread.

TASTE

The mellowness of butterscotch and baked spices with hints of dark chocolate.

BODY

Exceptionally round with a creamy aftertaste and a concentration of nutty aromas imparted by a careful blend of eaux-de-vie aged in toasted French oak casks.

DRINK SUGGESTION

Neat, on ice, or in premium classic cocktails such as the Sidecar or Sazerac. 1738 Accord Royal works best with cocktails that include citrus flavors.
