This brazenly bold whiskey was aged 4+ years in new charred oak barrels and bottled at 97 proof. (That’s 48.5% ABV, for those who only speak beer.) With a mash bill of 100% malted barley, it is born of the essence of Arrogant Bastard Ale.
A collaboration between California’s Stone Brewing and Iowa’s Foundry Distilling Co, this extremely limited offering is the ultimate embodiment of arrogance. It does not need recognition nor awards to validate its greatness, though it did win the gold medal for American Malt Whiskey at Whiskies Of The World, if you’re into that sort of thing.
